Specialist Trauma-Responsive Psychotherapy & Consultancy
Supporting individuals and organisations to understand and respond to the complex, embodied impact of trauma, disability and chronic stress.
Trauma Responsive Psychotherapy
This practice is grounded in an understanding that trauma not only affects thoughts and memories, it also shapes the nervous system, the body and the ways we relate to ourselves and others over time.
I work with adults living with the complex and often invisible impact of domestic abuse, childhood adversity, chronic illness, disability and prolonged stress. Many of the people I support feel exhausted, overwhelmed or disconnected, even if they would not initially describe their experiences as trauma.
Alongside therapeutic practice, I offer consultancy and training to organisations seeking to move beyond trauma awareness towards trauma-responsive, disability-inclusive and physiologically informed practice.
My work integrates professional expertise with lived experience, bringing depth, clarity and compassion to both individual therapy and strategic development.

Leadership & Strategic Work
Alongside my clinical practice, I hold regional leadership roles across North Somerset in the fields of disability, domestic abuse and trauma-informed practice.
I am Director and Psychotherapist at Soteria Trauma & Recovery CIC. For the past three years, I have led strategic mapping of disability and domestic abuse provision across North Somerset. I currently chair the Disability Strategic Sub-Group within the Domestic Abuse Partnership Board and sit on the Trauma-Informed Practice Collaborative Group.
My clinical and strategic work are closely interconnected, grounded in advancing trauma-responsive and disability-inclusive practice at both individual and systems level.
